Lucy Hobgood-Brown

America-born, Africa-raised, Australia-based with experience in 9 countries, 4 continents, Lucy is a social development consultant working in participatory project and program development for marginalized communities. She has experience in cross cultural communication and project management, and holds a Master degree in International Communication (Macquarie University) as well as International Social Development (University of New South Wales). In 2005 Lucy co-founded HandUp Congo, a non-profit that collaborates with grassroots partners on social development and health initiatives in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She regularly leads volunteer teams to the DRC. In 2015 she was named a Global Woman of Action by Rotary International at the United Nations.
